Friday 22nd of January - A special awards presentation for the Best Muaythai Fighter of Belgium was held at the Hilton hotel in Antwerp. The event garnered a big reception with some appearances of cultural Thai dancers, a Chinese Dragon dance troop and musical entertainment from Belgian Rap and Hip Hop artists.

Murat Direkci was awarded "Belgian's Best Muaythai Fighter". The award was presented by H.E. Pisan Manawapat the ambassador of Thailand to Belgium.

The BKBMO also presented the Ambassador with a special gift for his work in promoting Muaythai in Belgium.
