The logo for this year’s European Muaythai Championships has been unveiled. The logo depicts a muaythai fighter poised to execute a knee superimposed against Europe.

The ring surrounding the fighter includes all the colours of the Olympic rings to represent all nations united around the fighter representing muaythai.

As the championships are to be held in Italy, the light blue shorts on the fighter is synonymous with the traditional colour of Italy at the Olympic games.

Another interesting detail in the design is that the fighter is positioned to face the East, Thailand - the motherland of the sport. The European Championships will be held from the 25th-30th of May in Rome, Italy.
