The biggest muaythai promotion ever to be organised in Cyprus took place  on the 27th of March 2010 at the Neo Fiesta venue hall  in Limassol. The Cyprus Cup featured the WMC Muaythai Against Drugs championship belt. Local TV Channels covered the entire event at which politicians and the general public in attendance were thrilled and impressed by the overall performance of all the fighters.

The main event saw the Cypriot Champion Vakis Demetriou taking on Lebanese Moustafa Yiagmour for the under 68KG title belt.

After a hard fight of 5 rounds, the Cypriot Demtriou took the victory for the coveted WMC MAD belt.
