The Thai Superstar takes China by storm!!

Buakaw Por Pramuk, one of the world’s biggest names in muaythai was sent to promote muaythai in China by taking on one of their best athletes in the countdown to the Beijing SportAccord Combat Games.

Hanan Stadium was filled to bursting point as muaythai fans flocked to see the two superstars battle it out – would China challenge Thailand’s best?

Full credit must go to the Chinese fighter Xu Yan, who put on a fight of a lifetime and managed to take Buakaw to the scorecards. Narrowly beaten by Buakaw on a close decision, Xu Yan has boosted the overall confidence of China, who are expected to bring their best of the best as they are the host country for the upcoming SportAccord Combat Games.

The countdown has most definitely begun, and with only 2 months to go, its back to their respective gyms for the boys as muaythai’s elite push beyond their previous training limits to get 100% ready for the competition of a lifetime.
